Grocery Shopping for Weight Watchers ~> Weigh-In Wednesday

Two posts on Weight Watchers in one week?  Well, since I’m just getting back on WW ~ it’s ON MY BRAIN….

Grocery Shopping on #WeightWatchers via JustForClicksBlog.comIt’s been a couple years since I’ve been on Weight Watchers.  So it’s been a bit of a learning curve to get back on track.  Some things I remember from last time.  Some things are new discoveries.

Regardless of WW, my goal is to always have my family and I eat as Clean as possible.  That being said, there are a few “less than clean” products I will admit to relying on. It’s a balance.  So let’s go grocery shopping shall we?

Some PANTRY favorites:

Grocery Shopping for Pantry on #WeightWatchers JustForClicksBlog.com1.)  Aunt Millie’s Light Bread –>>  At 1 point a slice, this is my go-to for my lunches if I’m having a sandwich.  Or if I’m looking for toast with eggs.

2.)  Protein Powder ~~>> One scoop is 100 calories so it’s a nice way to sneak in proteins to my smoothies.

3.)  Stevia (liquid and powder) ~~>>  This is a great sweetener option.

4.)  Fiber One Bars ~~>> This is something when I need a quick snack.  Mainly for my purse to prevent high point choices when I’m out and about.

5.) No Pudge Brownie Mix ~~>>  The ingredient list on this was a pleasant surprise.  This mix has been around FOREVER (an early Weight Watchers favorite).  So when I saw “all natural” on the label, I thought I’d give it a try.  You mix it with yogurt for a low point dessert option.

6.) English Muffins ~~>> Like the bread, this is NOT a clean eating choice.  However, I’ll admit it’s a staple for me.  It’s a great breakfast or sandwich for lunch option.

7.)  Lindt Chocolate Bars ~~>>  Two squares is 3 PP.  And honestly, it’s such a satisfying treat.  This is now a staple for me.  Someone asked how I can stop after two squares:  I have the world’s worst sweet tooth and can honestly say…  The squares are pretty large and because the dark chocolate is so rich — it’s plenty!

Grocery Shopping on #WeightWatchers - Refrigerator - JustForClicksBlog.com1.)  Yogurt ~~>>  The new 100 calorie Greek Yogurt cups are just 2PP and are very filling.  Combined with low point cereal and 0 point berries = a great parfait for breakfast.

2.)  Pudding ~~>> A quick and satisfying snack or dessert.

3.)  Cool Whip and Reddi Whip ~~>> A little of either of these makes a bowl of 0 PP berries feel like a real dessert.  Add in a little angel food cake or a Vita muffin and you’ve got a delicious dessert.

Some FREEZER favorites:

Grocery Shopping on #WeightWatchers - Freezer - JustForClicksBlog.com1.)  Vegetarian Burgers ~~>>  I always keep these on hand for quick lunches or even a super quick dinner.  A lot of times I’ll top it with an egg and serve with a salad.

2.)  Van’s Power Waffles ~~>>  These are a great breakfast option and are surprisingly low points.  I like to spread a LITTLE nut butter and top with bananas and berries.

3.)  Alexis Garlic Bread ~~>>  I was shocked this was only 3PP per serving!

Grocery Shopping on #WeightWatchers in the freezer - JustForClicksBlog.com1.)  Weight Watchers Dark Chocolate Raspberry Bars ~~>>  These are 2PP of DELICIOUSNESS!

2.)  VitaTops ~~>>  They also come in breakfast options!

3.)  SkinnyCow~~>>  This is a WW staple.

4.)  NEW: Dole Banana Dippers ~~>>  AWESOME!!!  And low points.

    Oh some of those items look DELICIOUS. I think clean eating is so important, however, I am learning that BALANCE is the only way for me to have long-term sustainable changes on the path of Victory. So excited about YOUR excitement with being back on WW. You sound so empowered again with your health!!! YAY!!!!!! Looking forward to seeing how you continue on your WW journey! :)

    Can’t wait to see your full frig on Aggie’s Kitchen tomorrow! These look like some great options for WW. Some of them new to me, some not. I also love those spicty black bean veggie burgers. We’ve had a lot of those move through our house! I’m also glad you’re finding a balance and what works for you!

    It’s so nice of you to share you WW journey with us and also share with us some food suggestions as you get back on track. So much of your food above looks yummy and lots that I have not tried. Those veggie burgers look really good. Where do you get your protein powder from? There are always so many that I don’t know what kind to buy but this would be great when I’m in a hurry to add to a smoothie. And those dessert suggestions…YUM !! Looking forward to seeing inside your refrigerator tomorrow. I was just pricing new refrigerators today :)

      Hi Sandy! I buy Protein Powder from Amazon, The Vitamin Shoppe, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s. That particular one I bought on Amazon… but all those places have great all-natural options!

    Oh…I forgot to tell you that those are the two kinds of yogurts that I buy. Love them both with about 12 raw almonds added to them.

    Ok I tried those dippers for the first time recently and they rock my world!! Seriously a perfect bedtime/tv sweet snack.
    I’m so excited that you found what works for you! WW is great, and easy to get back on track with. Great post, super helpful to see ideas like this.

    I love seeing what other people buy at the grocery store!!! I have not had those waffles, but I have always wondered if they were good. The Alexia brand is great. We have bought some of their dinner rolls as well (French, I think?), and they were also only 3pp.
