Did this week fly by for anyone else? We’ve had a lotta stuff going on around our house, and I feel like I turned around and somehow the week is GONE. Not a bad thing! I’m ready for the WEEKEND.
Here’s some of my Favorite Finds this week:
1.) J. Crew Sale
Honestly, I used to think I was too old to shop at J. Crew. But a couple of years ago, I went in and realized they are a classic and timeless store that ANYONE can wear. I have bracelets and necklaces that I wear everyday from them. And I love their clothes. The perfect time to shop? When they run 25% off sales! This one runs through March 25th, so don’t miss out!
2.) So I think I’ve mentioned once or a hundred times here and on Instagram that I started back on Weight Watchers. So I’ve been searching for new recipes. A new-to-me site that I found and LOVE is Emily Bites. She includes WW Point Plus values for all her recipes.
3.) When I wore a MUCH smaller size, I shopped in lululemon quite a bit. As my size ~ a-hem ~ grew, I found that their clothes didn’t work. I’m now a 100% Zella girl. Much more affordable and still super cute. If you’re looking for comfy workout/errands clothes – they have new spring looks coming out that I am loving.
4.) Smelling Coffee
One of my first blogging friends I ever made 6 or 7 years ago (I’ve started/stopped blogs over the years) was Jennifer of Smelling Coffee (who started and has kept the same blog all along –> The RIGHT way to blog!). I’ve had the pleasure to meet Jen in person and to talk with her on the phone over the years, and I love her. I wish we lived closer together! Well, Jennifer is a bible study teacher (who wrote a bible study and gave me a copy years ago that I use in my Quiet Times to this day) and she shares a lot of teaching on her blog. Recently, she’s started Smelling Coffee TV! LOVE. Her most recent show was on Quiet Times – which is one of my favorite topics for her to teach on. If you don’t know Jennifer, you are missing out… so hop over to her blog!
5.) Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque
This is found at drug stores and VERY inexpensive (less than $5). I’ve heard about it many times and finally decided to give it a try. I really like it! Especially for the price. My ONLY complaint is that it is minty…. So using it at night, it isn’t a relaxing scent – it’s more invigorating. Great face mask. Great price!
Okay — There’s some of my Favorite Finds this week! Now….
