Dirty Diet Coke

dirty diet coke

So across the internet and social media I kept seeing comments about "Dirty Diet Coke".  Honestly, I assumed it included liquor.  But then I saw Moms talking about drinking it early enough in the day I realized they either had issues or I needed to do some further investigating into what a "Dirty Diet Coke" really was.... Turns out?  No liquor.  To which some of you say YAY and some feel the air being let outta your balloon. Here are the ingredients.... If you see the Coconut Syrup and … [Read more...]

40 Thoughts From Turning 40

cake

This weekend, I said goodbye to my 30's.  SO...  is 40 really fabulous?  Here's 40 thoughts from the 40 seat: 1.  One year, not wanting to break my healthy eating streak, I made myself a ricotta cake.... it was disgusting.  At 40, knowing much better, I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite of my decadent chocolate cake covered in buttercream. 2.  I know now that ever attempting to STOP drinking coffee is in fact STUPID.  I proudly admit to being a coffee addict. 3.  At 40, I know that if … [Read more...]

With the New Year came a renewed commitment to healthy eating.  Clean Eating.  Whole Real Foods.  I started on New Year's Eve.  I know, right?  I launched into The Daniel Plan 10 Day Detox.  Essentially, no dairy, sugar, wheat/gluten, alcohol, caffeine, processed or fast foods, etc. Having been in such a cycle or poor eating in November and December it wasn't so hard.  My energy was low.  And I could feel my body calling out for a fresh start. These pictures are from a few weeks ago....  My kiddos requested this as part of their Back-to-School week dinners.  That time I served it with a Kale Salad (bagged from Costco + slaw dressing) and...  of course....  mac 'n cheese! This past weekend as we … [Read more...]

Last Friday, I shared my journey to the camera and equipment I have today....  But today it's time to officially STOP shooting in Auto Mode!
